- Ask more than once: items are often handed in a few days later.
- Bring an ID and proof that the item is yours, for example a precise description or a receipt.
You found something in Wolfsburg
Whoever finds an item must in principle report it to the owner or to the competent authority (§ 965 BGB). For items worth 10 euros or less, reporting to the authority is not required. Hand in valuables and identity documents at the city's lost property office.
