Qevik is a platform that, through its various tools, gives lost objects a chance to find their way back to their owner.

It is simple. The person who finds your object can search for you on our platform using your identifier, or scan the associated QR code with their phone. They then see only the information you have decided to make public. Whether or not you have enabled visibility, they can notify you through our system, anonymously or openly, to let you know that you have lost something.

No, the finder needs neither an app nor an account. The camera on their smartphone is all that is required to scan the QR code. The entire process takes place in the browser and is completed in under 30 seconds.

No. Qevik is built on a privacy-by-default principle. The finder sees only the information you have chosen to make public; your personal contact details remain protected.

Qevik is technically functional worldwide. The shops, however, are activated gradually as we grow across the different regions of the world.

Qevik offers a range of Q engraved with your identifiers, plus accessories. The catalogue keeps growing: the shop is the reference.

You do not need to activate your identifier. For individuals, the identifier is created as soon as the account is opened and becomes active once the account is verified. For businesses, the principle is the same, but you also need to activate the various special keys associated with each object.

As an individual, you do not manage objects: your identifier stays with you and covers the Qevik accessories you own. If a business assigns you one of its objects, however, it appears in your area and you can act on it, for instance report it lost or mark it as recovered.

When a business object is associated with you, you can mark it as lost in your “My objects” area. If you recover it later, simply mark it as recovered again.

The person who finds it notifies or contacts you, and you agree together on the return arrangements. If the object is handed in to a service such as a transport office, an airport or a municipality, those services will contact you to organise the recovery of your belongings.
